Here are some big pieces i’ve been working on for the past few weeks. In back is a large jar over 28″ tall, that has been thrown in two 12lb sections. Next to it is a thrown and altered 20lb vase around 18″ tall. Then a variety of other forms. The big platters are fun, but they require a really slow drying to prevent warping and cracking. Also, trimming the backside is a two-man job to flip them.
